Positive Discipline Courses

Dates: Sunday 10, 17, 24 Nov 2024

Time: 1pm-4pm

Location: Montessori East School, 8 Wellington Street, Bondi NSW 2026

Cost: $300 single $400 double

Based on the work of Jane Nelson & Lynn Lott, Positive Discipline teaches parents how to use non-punitive tools to create a respectful and loving relationship with their children. By attending a Positive Discipline course, you will learn how to: 

• Disengage from power struggles with your child using a multitude of Positive Discipline tools
• Set clear boundaries and follow through 
• Use feeling encourager statements rather than feeling stoppers
• Invite your child to self calm rather than be sent to time out
• Celebrate your child’s mistakes as learning opportunities for valuable life skills
• Use encouragement instead of praise to give your child a strong sense of internal motivation
• Create fun routine charts for morning and evening schedules 

Positive Discipline courses are offered over 3 consecutive Sundays (3 x 3 hrs) at the Montessori East School, Bondi. Participants work in an interactive group environment, experiencing first hand a variety of Positive Discipline tools. 

All course work material & resources are included in the cost of the course.

Freddie & Prue are the only qualified educators offering Positive Discipline as a couple in Australia. They bring their own family experiences of raising four children to each course.
